Guy Davis is an American comic artist based in Michigan, best known for his work on Baker Street, B.P.R.D.[1] and The Marquis.

Davis had picked up a stack of old 2000ADs in the 1980s, which included the series Judge Dredd, Nemesis the Warlock, Rogue Trooper and The Ballad of Halo Jones.

While Rob Williams was working on Star Wars Tales he contacted Davis with a view to working on a strip at some point. Davis had mentioned that he liked the Cursed Earth mega-epic. The offer came in to work on the Out Law strip, set in the Cursed Earth at about the same time he was finishing the final issue of B.P.R.D.: King of Fear and managed to bring Dave Stewart, his B.P.R.D. colourist, with him. Davis had a few challenges adapting to the British size and shape of comic page[2].
