It was renamed Volga Square by the Volgan occupying forces in 1999. Bill Savage led the Mad Dogs there to make a public announcement of the existence of the Resistance[1].

Sideways Scuttleton discovered that there were huge pigeons in Trafalgar Square, alerting him to the fact that he was not on his home parallel world[2].

Refuse from the year 2343 was disposed of by sending it to 1999 where it appeared above Trafalgar Square[3].
